AlaskaLIVE volunteers raise awareness, money, and educate the community about the preventive aspects of FIGHTING against and preventing cancer. We support all those affected by cancer; the patient, caregiver and family and friends. This means we share information about advances in cancer prevention and cures; we support survivors in the community in their FIGHT; we advocate by talking with our Congressman and Senators; we raise money to help local Alaskans and donate to LIVESTRONG; and we wear yellow LIVESTRONG shirts while participating in local sporting event like the Skinny Raven Twilight 12K!
